Dr. Hiçdurmaz graduated from Hacettepe University School of Nursing in 2002. Between 2002– 2004 she worked for Ankara Bayındır Hospital as a nurse and a shift manager nurse. She has been working for Hacettepe University Faculty of Nursing since 2005. She had her master’s degree in 2005 and PhD degree in 2010 from Hacettepe University Institute of Health Sciences Psychiatric Nursing Program. Dr. Hiçdurmaz, who has been working in assistant professor position at Hacettepe University Faculty of Nursing Psychiatric Nursing Department since 2013, had her associate professor degree in 2018 and, professor degree in 2024 in the psychiatric nursing field. She is interested in psycho-oncology, psychosocial care of chronic illness, cognitive-behavioral therapies, mental health of nurses and nursing students, psychosocial factors influencing quality of care.
