She had a bachelor's degree in 2010 from the Faculty of Health Sciences of Hacettepe University receiving the “Ihsan Dogramaci Overachievement Prize.” After graduation, she worked at the Stem Cell Transplantation Unit of Bayindir Hospital as a staff nurse between 2010 and 2011 years, worked at Ankara Children Health and Disease Education & Research Hospital as a staff nurse between 2011-2012 years and worked at the Faculty of Health Sciences Nursing and Health Services Department of Baskent University as a research assistant between the 2012 and 2013. She started post-graduate education at the Institute of Health Sciences of Hacettepe University in 2011, got a Master of Science degree in 2013, and earned a Ph.D. degree in 2017. She worked in the Internal Medicine Nursing Department of Hacettepe University Faculty of Nursing as a research assistant between  August 2013 and February 2019, and as an assistant professor between February 2019 and August 2021. She has worked as an associate professor in the same department from August 2021 until now. Her research areas are complementary therapies, symptom management in chronic diseases, supportive care in cancer, and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation.
