She completed her primary and secondary education in Giresun and graduated from Piraziz Anatolian Vocational School of Health. She graduated with a third-place from Ankara University Faculty of Health Science Nursing Department in 2004. She completed Master of Science in Surgical Nursing at Hacettepe University Institute of Health Sciences in 2007. She completed her Ph.D. in the Surgical Nursing Department at Hacettepe University Institute of Health Sciences in 2015. She worked as an intensive care nurse, supervisor, and organ transplantation coordinator in Turkiye Yuksek Ihtisas State Hospital between January 2003 and July 2013. She worked as a research assistant at Hacettepe University Faculty of Nursing, Surgical Nursing Department between July 2013-February 2019. She has been working as a faculty in the same department since February 2019. She was in Erasmus University Medical Center, Heart Failure, Heart Transplantation and Mechanical Circulatory Support Unit for 5 months in 2019 and Hannover Medical School Department of Cardiac, Thoracic, Transplant and Vascular Surgery for 2 months in 2015 as a visiting scholar.

Interests: Solid organ transplantation, immunosuppressive medication adherence in transplant patients, heart transplantation and ventricular assist devices, mechanical circulatory support systems, thorax and cardiovascular surgery nursing.
