Bakır graduated from Fırat University Department of Nursing in 2008. She received master's degree in 2013 at  Gaziantep University Graduate School of Health Sciences Pediatric Nursing Department and PhD degree in 2020 at Hacettepe University Graduate School of Health Sciences Pediatric Nursing Department. She worked at Gaziantep Dr. Ersin Arslan Education Research Hospital between 2009-2011 and at Ankara Provincial Health Directorate between 2011-2013. Since 2013, she has been working as a research assistant at Hacettepe University Faculty of Nursing, Department of Pediatric Nursing.
