She graduated from Erzurum İbrahim Hakkı Science High School in 2008 and from Erzurum Atatürk University Faculty of Nursing in 2013. She worked as a dialysis nurse at Erzurum Pasinler İbrahim Hakkı State Hospital for 3 months and then was appointed as a research assistant at Hacettepe University Faculty of Nursing, Department of Internal Medicine Nursing in 2013. She received her Science Specialization degree in 2016 with her master thesis titled "Evaluation of the Effects of Nursing Interventions for Intradialytic Hypotension" and continues her education in the Internal Medicine Nursing Doctorate Program. Kesik is also a member of the KEPAN Nursing Working Group Board of Directors. Areas of interest; “Hemodialysis Nursing”, “Neurology Nursing” and “Nutrition Nursing”. She is married and has a child.
