She graduated from Ankara University College of Health Sciences in 1986 and Hacettepe University Faculty of Nursing School in 1990. And she graduated master program in 1995 and doctorate in 2002 in Hacettepe University School of Health Sciences Institute. Between 1986 and 1995, she worked in Ankara University School of Medicine Ibni Sina Hospital Department of Nephrology and Kidney Transplantation, Operating Room and Hospital Infection Control Centre as nurse. She worked in Ankara University School of High Health as instructor between 1995 and 2004. Following she worked in Ankara University School of High Health and Ankara University Faculty of Health Sciences Department of Nursing as assistant professor between 2004 and 2012. Between 2012 and May 2014, she worked in Ankara University Faculty of Health Sciences Department of Nursing as Assoc. Prof. She have worked in Hacettepe University Faculty of Nursing from May 2014. She went to Keele University Nursing and Midwifery School for Erasmus Teaching Mobility in June 2010 and April 2013.
