She completed her primary-secondary and, high school education in Giresun. She graduated with a third-place from Ankara University Faculty of Health Science Nursing Department in 2004. She completed Master of Science in Surgical Nursing at Hacettepe University Institute of Health Sciences in 2007. She completed her Ph.D. in the Surgical Nursing Department at Hacettepe University Institute of Health Sciences in 2015. She worked as an intensive care nurse, supervisor, and organ transplantation coordinator in Turkiye Yuksek Ihtisas State Hospital between 2003-2012. She worked as a research assistant at Hacettepe University Faculty of Nursing, Surgical Nursing Department between 2013 and 2018. She has been working as a faculty in the same department since 2019. She was in Erasmus University Medical Center, Heart Failure, Heart Transplantation and Mechanical Circulatory Support Unit for 5 months in 2019 and Hannover Medical School Department of Cardiac, Thoracic, Transplant and Vascular Surgery for 2 months in 2015 as a visiting scholar.

Interests: Solid organ transplantation, immunosuppressive medication adherence in transplant patients, heart transplantation and ventricular assist devices, mechanical circulatory support systems, liver transplantation.
